Serves as an advisory commission to City Council to recommend and propose issues of special interest to the Agricultural Community.

Three or more AAC members may attend the Transition Area/Interfacility Traffic Area Citizens Advisory Committee May 7 meeting, at 5:30 p.m. in Building 19, Municipal Center.
The Virginia Beach Agricultural Advisory Commission serves in an advisory capacity for the purpose of providing recommendations to the City Council concerning issues of special interest to the rural/agricultural community of the City.
The committee was established pursuant to Ordinance No. 94-2295A, which was adopted by the Virginia Beach City Council on Aug. 23, 2004.
It consists of five to seven members with knowledge and experience in agricultural matters of interest to the City. The director of the Department of Agriculture serves as a nonvoting member.
Meeting Information
The Agricultural Advisory Committee meets in the Agriculture Department Conference Room, Building 14, 2449 Princess Anne Road (unless otherwise noted). Meetings occur quarterly on the second Monday of the first month of each quarter and start at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
